Abstract: A solution (25%) of NH2 citrate, 1 M NH3 - NH4Cl buffer and ethanolic 0.3% bis(cyclohexanone)oxalyldihydrazone was passed at 3.6 mL min-1 into an automatic flow injection analysis system to reach stability. A portion (20 µL) of sample solution was then injected into the system and the absorbance was measured at 595 nm. Beer's law was obeyed from 10 to 80 µg mL-1 of Cu2+. Results agreed with those obtained by a classical method with used of Pb diethyldithiocarbamate.
